Crysis Warhead is an action game, showing events on the screen of the first-person perspective, by Crytek Studios. Inspired by the original Crysis title is the first project the Budapest branch of that company.

The game's story presents an alternative view of events with which we met released in late 2007 FPS-e. This time, however, instead of the Nomad - the original main character, take control of his companion Delta Force, Sergeant Michael Sykes. Crysis Warhead is impressive shooting from Crytek Studios (FPS-valued authors and Far Cry), in which events are observed from the first-person perspective. Warhead is a prequel to released in late 2007, Crysis.

This action shooting takes place on the well-known from the first part of a series of island which in addition to U.S. forces and Korean give it to manifest itself hostile creatures. Aliens enter the process terraformacji surrounding area, turning the tropical jungle in the arctic tundra.

The protagonist of the game is described Michael "Psycho" Sykes, a former British SAS soldier-in. This can be increased strength, improved speed of movement and facilitate sneaks into the enemy camp camouflage.

In this continuation of the familiar with the basic version of giwera added two new weapons, namely FGL40 grenade and submachine guns AY69, with a strong performance in the battles fought on a small distance. The player can also use two previously unknown means of transport, namely the bare air-cushion vehicle and which has a sizeable force of armored vehicle destruction.

In Warhead slightly improved intelligence of computer opponents and added one new alien species. Player more than the basic version is fighting the bosses and hostile machines (tanks, helicopters, etc.). In addition to the singleplayer campaign can also benefit from the multiplayer, which is installed with a separate disc. Gameplay network has to offer one new game mode, namely, Team Instant Action (team multiplayer). Fight may be, in turn, turned on the seven unknown boards (six for Instant Action / Team Instant Action and Power Struggle for one).

High quality audiovisual lighting still represents one of the main strengths of the game. Crysis Warhead offers full support for DirectX 9 and DirectX 10 Compared to the previous cycle, reads, inter alia, improved performance of the accompanying explosion of fighting, and also added a previously unknown weather effects.

Warhead is a prequel to released in late 2007, Crysis.
